Taiyo Yuden introduced That's Double Density CD-R with 1.3 GB storage space in 2000. In April 2003, an anechoic chamber test facility was established.〔 Effective March 1, 2006, the power supply factory in Mexico (formerly Taiyo Yuden de Mexico, originally Zentec Inc) was sold to Tamura Corporation.
